Asset & Property Management

Redesign owns and manages 20 properties in the Seward and Longfellow neighborhoods of Minneapolis. We provide well-managed, affordable commercial space and both market-rate and affordable housing that support stability for small businesses and residents

Redesign has developed or preserved over 900 units of affordable and market-rate housing, and owns and manages nearly 100,000 square feet of commercial and industrial space. This includes nine properties that are home to 45 small business and community nonprofit tenants, supporting over 300 jobs.

It’s foundational

[Through the 1980s,] Seward Redesign operated as a small-scale affordable housing development nonprofit, successfully building and rehabbing homes at scattered sites around the Seward neighborhood. These early small-scale successes … gave Seward Redesign a track record of integrating affordable housing within the community in a relatively seamless manner that would make it easier to move forward with larger projects in the future.
