The Focus Arts Building is the creative heart of the Seward Commons development. In 2020, Redesign redeveloped this 22,000 sq foot industrial building to serve as an arts incubator and a hub for local arts organizations. It is now home to Aesthetic Apparatus, Create Laser Arts, Somali TV, Threads Dance Nexus, Red Eye Theater, and Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts alongside vibrant storefronts.

Designed to support the arts community, the building features shared spaces, a communal kitchen, and areas for rotating art exhibitions. The Focus Arts Building reflects Redesign’s dedication to integrating arts and culture into the fabric of the neighborhood, offering a space where creativity and community converge.
