Rising Cedar was the first housing project to be developed in the multi-phase Seward Commons project. Developed in partnership with Project for Pride in Living and Touchstone Mental Health, this permanent supportive housing project includes 40 handicap-accessible one-bedroom units for individuals with persistent mental illness. Rising Cedar houses Touchstone Mental Health’s regional headquarters and offers a thoughtful design inside and out that promotes wellness for residents, including natural light, open spaces, and a healing garden and courtyard which is programmed with services for residents.
