Bessemer is a 128 unit apartment building completed in partnership with Schafer Richardson and Noor Companies as Redesign’s partner. It is the first apartment building in the neighborhood in 40 years to be built without income limits and contributes studio, one and two-bedroom units for middle-income families just 1 block along the Hiawatha bike path from the Franklin LRT station. Building features include extensive bike parking for residents and a new trail connection available to the public through a park dedication easement. The building is under construction and on track to open in late 2021.
